Why Factory Verification Matters
Factory Verification

Regulatory compliance and brand protection
A white paper on pet‑related recalls notes that mismanaging a recall exposes companies to regulatory fines, civil lawsuits, criminal prosecutions and retailer chargebacks . Because most pet owners treat their animals like family , public reaction to safety issues is swift and emotional. Preventing defects upstream protects your brand from reputational damage.

Complex supply chains require oversight
The Pet Sourcing Fair China (PSC) showcases the entire pet supply chain from raw materials to finished products, with Chinese manufacturers exporting to the U.S., Europe, Japan, Korea and other regions . In such a global network, verifying factories helps ensure that international buyers receive products that meet local regulations and quality expectations.

Our Verification Process

1
Pre‑screening and selection
We start by evaluating potential factories based on their certifications (ISO, BSCI, CE, FDA where applicable), production capacity and previous export experience. Only suppliers that pass this pre‑screening enter our shortlist.
2
On‑site audits
Our team visits shortlisted factories to inspect manufacturing facilities, equipment maintenance and worker conditions. We verify that battery compartments are secure, materials are food‑grade and child‑safe, and that production lines follow good manufacturing practices. These audits help us catch design issues, such as poorly secured batteries or harmful coatings, before samples are sent out.
3
Sample and material testing
We conduct mechanical tests (drop, bite and tensile tests), chemical analyses and packaging inspections. Ingredient testing not only identifies contaminants, it also helps create risk profiles and focuses resources on critical areas
